How to use AI for the business side of your art. It never touches your canvas.

Join me live and watch me hand off the captions, the gallery research, and the rest of my someday list to AI, right on my own computer. I am not a tech person. If I can do this, you can too.

Sound familiar?

The business side is living on your someday list.

You love making your work. It's everything around the work that piles up. The artist statement you've been meaning to rewrite for two years. The gallery emails you haven't sent. Standing in the kitchen at 9 PM trying to think of something to post.

When this stuff doesn't get done, your work sits in the studio instead of on somebody's wall. Then you feel guilty, and guilt is terrible for painting. So you paint less, and around it goes.

"None of this needs your hands. All of it needs your voice. That's exactly where AI can help."

Let's clear this up first

AI never touches your canvas.

When AI image generators showed up, a lot of artists I love felt sick to their stomachs, and I did too. After a lot of thinking and a lot of conversations with collectors, here's where I've landed: when anybody can make a picture in a few seconds, the thing nobody can make is yours. Original, handmade art is about to matter more, not less.

So I'm not going to teach you to use AI to make art. Not in this training, not ever. I'll show you how I hand it the part of this job I used to dread, so I can get back in the studio and make more of the work only I can make.

Never for art

No images, no paintings, nothing that goes on your canvas.

Never a copy

We never ask it to imitate another artist. Ever.

Always your voice

Words, research, and planning that sound like you, not a marketer.
What we'll cover

One hour. Two live demos. One prompt to take home.

Everything you see on screen, I'm doing myself, on my own computer, with my own paintings. You'll probably catch me hunting for a button or two. That's kind of the point.

01

Find where your time is actually going

A quick exercise that sorts your whole someday list into three buckets, so you can see exactly which tasks AI can help you with and which ones only you can do.

02

Why AI sounds like a greeting card (and the fix)

The first time I tried AI, it gave me a caption I would never say in a million years, and I closed the laptop. I'll show you the Artist Profile that changed everything, so AI finally sounds like you.

03 Live demo

A month of social content in your voice

I'll plan four weeks of posts right in front of you, with what to photograph and caption drafts in my voice. Then I'll edit one live, because AI gets you most of the way there and your edit makes it yours.

04 Live demo

Find galleries that fit your work

Gallery research used to take me weeks of browsing websites and a pile of sticky notes I would promptly lose. Watch what that search looks like now, and how to double-check what AI finds.

05

The one thing that decides whether any of this works for you

AI makes whatever you already have louder. If your pricing is a guess, it writes a lovely price list for prices that are still a guess. I'll show you the foundation to build first, so the tools actually help. Then we'll open it up for live Q&A.

The Social Content Plan Prompt

The exact prompt I use to plan a full month of social media content. You'll get the whole thing during the training. Fill in your own details and walk away with a plan that sounds like you, not a marketer.

Your teacher

Hi, I'm Jodie King.

I've been a working, selling artist since 2002. I didn't go to art school, I teach workshops around the world, and I still call every app "the thing."

I spent years stuck on my own someday list, painting less than I wanted to because the business side felt like a mountain. For a long time I was sure the tech side was beyond me. It wasn't. And it isn't for you either.

That's why I'm running every demo myself. I want you to watch someone like you do this, so you know you can too.

Joining me: Yasmine Kashefi, who runs operations and marketing for Jodie King Media. She's the one who sat with me, very patiently, while I learned all of this, and she'll be right there with simple tips along the way.
Is this for you?

Come as you are. No tech skills needed.

This is for you if...

  • You love making your work and you're tired of the business side sitting on your someday list.
  • You want to sell your work, or sell more of it, and you'd love a plan instead of guessing.
  • You're curious about AI but a little nervous about it, and you want to use it in a way that protects your art and sounds like you.
  • You've never opened an AI tool, or you tried once, got a greeting card, and gave up.

This isn't for you if...

  • You're looking for AI to make your art for you.

We don't do that here, and we never will.

Questions

Everything you need to know

When is the training?
Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 12 PM Central (10 AM Pacific, 1 PM Eastern). Plan for about an hour, and stick around for live Q&A if you can.
What if I can't make it live?
Your ticket includes the replay, and it stays up until October 21. That said, come live if you possibly can. The Q&A only happens live, and I love seeing who's in the room.
I'm really not techy. Is this for me?
Yes, truly. Neither am I, and that's exactly why I'm running the demos myself. You don't need any special skills or words. If you can type a text message, you can do what I'm going to show you.
Do I need an AI tool before the training?
Nope. Any of the major AI tools will work, and the free versions are fine to start. You're welcome to just watch the first time and try the prompt afterward.
Are you going to teach me to make AI art?
No, and I never will. I never use AI to create images or art, and I never ask it to copy another artist. I use it for words, research, and planning. You decide where your own lines are.
Will there be anything for sale?
At the end, I'll share how you can keep going with my program, Art Biz for Rebels 2.0, for anyone who wants more support. It's completely optional. Either way, you'll leave with the training and the prompt.
How do I get the link to join?
Right after you register, you'll get a confirmation email with your link to join, and we'll send reminders before we go live. Can't find it? Email us at [email protected] and we'll help.
